To Susie’s family,

It is with our deepest sympathy for your loss of our dear friend Suzie. She loved life and was an eccentric and funny soul. We travelled this Parkinson’s journey together and comforted each other along the way. We hope you’re in peace now. You will be missed.
News of Suzie's passing reached me only yesterday, 16th March. Condolences to Judith and Suzie's extended family and her many friends around the world. Suzie and I shared an interest in vintage jewellery. Suzie loved plastic necklaces and earrings from the 1950's and 60's and she wore them with great flair. She preferred bartering to buying. She often brought wildly exotic and interesting things to me to trade for something in my collection. The last thing I sent off to Suzie, a few years ago, was a cherry red plastic necklace. She had moved house. I never saw her wear it but I have no doubt she wore it to its best advantage. Farewell, Suzie. Rest in peace. I hope all your little doggies are there to welcome you. You loved them and they adored you.
I’ve only just heard the sad news of Suzy’s passing. Wishing my sincere condolences to Suzy’s family and close friends. I traded alongside Suzy at the Dublin Flea, she stood out with her flame red hair, sense of fun, fantastic stock and her trademark pink parasol. In recent years she visited the markets and stopped for chats, always a ray of sunshine. May she rest in peace.
