I was deeply shocked and saddened to learn of the passing of Suzanne. She was a beautiful, genuine, kind, dedicated and hardworking person. She provided great leadership to Young Persons Probation Teams during my time in the service and acted up in the Director role prior to her retirement. She had such a gentle, calm presence. She quietly and confidently inspired change, always bringing people along with her. She was such a special force and I feel so privileged to have worked with her.

So sad to hear this morning of Suzanne's passing, such a lovely wise colleague. I was blessed to have her as my manager (in YPP), I enjoyed every day working with her. My sympathies go to Dermot, who was also a wonderful colleague to me many moons ago. Suzanne was proud of Dermot as was Dermot of Suzanne. She was funny and encouraging about the dilemmas of being a working Mum. I am sure her influence won't wane, she'll be loved and remembered forever.
