I was so sad to.hear of Sybil's loss.. she was a good friend to our family and so kind , helpful and welcoming during Domhnall and Pearl' illness and death.I enjoyed our chats over tea and biscuits when I would call to number three. My sympathies to.all of you.

Dear Ann, Edward and Don,
I was completely shocked to hear of Sybil’s sudden death. I haven’t seen her since pre-Covid. I carry warm memories of our friendship since we met in 6th class in St. Angela’s. I always enjoyed her company and her quiet subversive wit.
I can’t begin to think, not only of your shock but also of your grief. My thoughts are with you all at this sad time.
I regret that due to an injured ankle I will not be able to join you at her funeral Mass. She will be missed. May she rest in peace. Sincere sympathies.

I was deeply saddened to hear of Sybil's sudden passing. Not only was she my landlady for several years, but also a true friend. She couldn't do enough to help me through my years in UCC and provided constant support when I needed it. She made my entire time in UCC so much easier, and I am forever grateful for all that she has done for me. She was such a gentle soul and I will miss our weekly trips to Dunnes for coffee. Sybil was truly one of a kind. My sincere condolences to her entire family circle on the loss of such a kind, loving woman.
