So very sorry to hear this news. I really hoped Sylvester would pull through. I was always fascinated by the story of a Dutch fishing enthusiast settling in Donegal. He always spoke so warmly of his wife and children and his life in Donegal. My thoughts are with you all. RIP Sylvester.

Sylvester rest in peace. I had the pleasure of working along side Sylvester and travelling abroad together on many occasions. He was passionate about his profession and a lovely man. Rest in peace and our thoughts are with you to Lisa, Meabh and Eoghan.
