We have lovely memories of Noel and Sylvia staying over the years in Dogs Bay where they thoroughly enjoyed many summer’s holidays. Sylvia was an absolute lady. May she rest in peace. Thinking of you all at this very sad time.

Sincere condolences to Mrs Brown's family and friends. She was my science teacher for Inter Cert and it was one of my favourite subjects because of her. She was a great teacher and a gentle soul. May she rest in peace.

Deepest sympathy to all the Brown family on the passing of Sylvia. She was my chemistry teacher in St Louis, Rathmines. She taught me for my Leaving cert in 1991. She was a wonderful teacher, so patient, kind and really interested in teaching us girls. I also have fond memories of her bringing us orienteering in Marley park as first years. A truly lovely woman. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Such sadness to hear about Sylvia's passing. Mrs Brown was one of my teachers in St. Louis High. 20 plus years later I still talk about her to my children. I found secondary school hard and she was the one teacher that was there for me. She pushed me through my last year in school and gave me the confidence to follow through with my studies. I thank her for all the kindness and support throughout my teenage years in school. Sincere condolences to her family may she rest in peace.

Endless friendly waves, a big smile and always a warm greeting as we spent all those years growing up on the 'road', you were always good natured and interested in us. Hiding in the 'greenfly tree' (sorry Michael, you're probably cringing at the unscientific name given to one of our favourite hiding places) in the front garden of the Brown's family home. Then, in recent years, lovely visits in the living room for warm catchups and more smiles. Rest in peace Sylvia.

My heartfelt condolences to Uncle Noel, Michael, Peter, Sarah, and the rest of the family for your loss. I was very sad to hear of the news and remember Sylvia very fondly from my visits to Ireland. I remember her kindness and care for others. Rest in Peace Sylvia.

Mrs Brown as we knew her back in the 90's when she thought us in St. Louis High School was such a thoughtful kind loving woman who looked after us all so well. She was kind and patient and a wonderful teacher. I have so many fond memories of her. May she rest in peace.

Mrs. Brown taught me Leaving Cert Biology some 26 years ago in St. Louis'. She was a lovely, kind teacher who always had time for her students. I have very fond memories of her. My sincere condolences to all of her family and friends at this very sad time. Rest in peace Mrs. Brown.
