Terry and I were shocked and greatly saddened to hear that Sylvia had slipped away from us while we were on holidays. Our community has lost a fine neighbour. I have lost a true friend, and, I am privileged to say, a trusted confidant. (Although I admit there was somewhat of an orderly queue for the latter)

We are so sorry to hear the very sad news. Mum and Sylvia were good friends when we were all growing up. Their friendship goes back further to enjoying dances in various parishes before settling down.
