So sorry to hear the sad news about Sylvie. My condolences to Mary, Lorna, Sinead and Geraldine and families. Sylvie was a cherished, lifelong friend to my Dad. Ive such fond memories of family get-togethers over the years. He was an absolute gentleman. Thinking of you all at this very sad time.

Sincerest condolences to the family of Sylvie Kierans, he was truly one of life's superb gentlemen. I was fortunate enough to have played soccer and to have worked with him for a number of years. Sylvie brought joy to the world, he was always kind in conversation and forever wore a smile. May his gentle soul rest peacefully with the Lord.

The sad departure from this life of Sylvie Kierans removes one of the nicest individuals who has ever tread this earth. Such a talented person who was so accomplished in soccer & choral singing, each of which he carried out with such great dignity & sportsmanship.
His many accomplishments were achieved with modesty and humility and never boastful.
He possessed a beautiful tenor voice from his boyhood years with St Peter’s Boys Choir where he continued to use it in later years to great effect with St Peter’s Church Choir & subsequently Drogheda Male Voice Choir until he retired from choral singing.
We lament his passing with great sorrow & sadness & we shall never forget the lovely moments we shared with him on and offstage.
To his beloved wife, Mary, daughters, Lorna, Sinead and Geraldine and the wider Kierans family, we extend our most heartfelt sympathy.
