I knew Tanya as Miss O Brien, as I had the privilege of having her as my english teacher from 1st to 6th year. It was clear to see she was a passionate teacher who cared for her students, I looked forward to her classes, she was truly a wonderful person. My sincere condolences to Tanya's family. My daughter was privileged to have Tanya in her first year in Loreto, Wexford and it was clear Tanya was not only a fantastic teacher but genuinely cared for her students and valued the principles of kindness and politeness hughly. I remember clearly the lovely parent teacher meeting we had (over 2 years ago) and she made such a impression in every positive way. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. A lovely person with the capacity for such goodness and kindness taken too soon.
