I am very sorry to hear of Tara's death and her immense loss for you Alan, her Mam, family and dear friends and neighbours too.

I have not met Tara in a long long time. At one point we shared a mutual journey with M.E. in our lives. I will always remember her engaging presence, encouragement and persistent dedication to finding a treatment that worked. Her beauty always shone through.

Although Tara and I were in college together ,I didn’t get to know her until the mid 90s. Working side by side, we had such a laugh every day. She hadn’t been going out with Alan that long and so I was privileged to be a part of the great love story that ensued, their engagement, wedding and beyond. They were a totally devoted couple .
