Sincere condolences to all those who mourn Ted. I have wonderful fond memories of a great man. He transported us all over the county to matches in the brown beetle when we were young lads.. Very important work in our formative years. Ingrained in us a love of sport. A gentleman and ferociously competitive at the same time. I can see him patrolling the sideline in his wellies. We were blessed to have known Ted from the many Rambling Houses & music sessins throughout Munster.
He was a great entertainer, be it singing, reciting or story telling. He had an amazing interest in Irish history & spoke of it with passion & pride. We are all the poorer for his passing.
