Ted was our Grandma Groarkes' (nee Quinn) nephew & our mothers cousin.
Our mother & her sisters Mary & Agnes went to stay with his Uncle Tom & knew his brother Jack in Manchester.
He sounded like a lovely man, we sorry we missed him, though we did meet his father & sister, Irene, when we visited Cloonaragh.
We send our condolences & best wishes to his family & friends.

Dear Ted. You will be sadly missed by and fondly remembered by us all and your nieces and nephews. Your storytelling and good humour will not be forgotten. Bless you and RIP.

Our sincere condolences on the death of our Uncle Ted. We remember his humour, his smile and twinkle in his eye, as he told us fantastic, animated tales of fairy circles and banshees, as well as his passion for Giant Haystack wrestling and country western music!
Ted was married to my wonderful Auntie Alice Quinn (née Woods of Irvinestown, Fermanagh). Alice was my beloved Mother's Sister, Bridget Tidbury (née Woods) and brother-in-law to my beloved Father Val Tidbury. May their gentle souls rest in peace. Here's hoping that the dance music is playing loudly up there!

So sad to hear of the passing of Ted. He was a truly decent human being, always charming and positive, full of wit and with an innate ability to tell a story with poetic flair. It is impossible to think of Ted without smiling. What a lovely legacy to leave behind.
