My sincere condolences to Orla, Colm & all of the Galvin family on the passing of your beloved dad, Tadhg.
I only heard about his passing at my own fathers funeral last Wednesday, from Seán Ó hUigín.
I spent the summers of 2000 - 2005 teaching under Tadhgs guidance in Coláiste na Múmhan, and have wonderful memories of your dad.
He was like a father figure to me, and we had such a laugh (in between serious work schedules!!)
He had a word and a smile for everyone, young and old.
He travelled up to The Rower in 2006 for my wedding, a memory for which, I am always so grateful.
A true gentleman, was Tadhg, and I know the void left for you, his family, will be so great. He always spoke so highly of you.....
Keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers at this sad time.

I send my sincere condolonces to Colm, Orla, and the extended Galvin and Griffin families. Teddy taught me for a few years way, way back in the 1960's
at Primary School in Ballingeary. We were wild at the time, and probably drove him mad, the poor man. He had the patience of a Saint, and a very calm and easygoing manner. May his soul Rest in Peace and Rise in Glory.
