I am so sorry to learn that Mr Horgan has died. I knew him years ago when I was much younger. He was like a mentor - a friend - to me and helped set my course in the right direction for life.
He had an infectious enthusiasm for life and gave great advice that was never dogmatic or closed-minded. He is well remembered by many and my thoughts are with Mrs Horgan and his extended family at this sad time.
Rest well, Terry. Your work here is done. A new and everlasting chapter has begun...

Dear Aunty Ann
I was very sad to hear of Uncle Terry’s passing. He was a very kind, gentle and generous soul and will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace
My deepest sympathies to Ann. I’m praying for him and for you.

I first met Terry back in the mid 70s and found him immediately to be direct, inspiring, friendly and someone showing keen interest in you, along with perceiving in him someone who was decisive, energetic, indefatigable, daring and who conveyed a sense of excitement about life, was forward-looking with big-visions full of hope, and that life for everyone has the potential to be a great human-divine adventure. Looking back, that indeed captured something of Terry’s rich personality, and it’s no wonder that he was part of some daring undertakings like the founding of Rockbrook and Rosemont schools with the innovation of placing parents at the centre -proactively collaborating and working with other parents in realising their natural and Christian rights to take full responsibility for the children’s education.

Ar dheis láimh Dé go raibh a h-anam. RIP. Máirtín Ó Droma. Chairman, Board of Management, Rockbrook Park School.

Deepest condolences to Ann and all the Horgan family on the passing of Terry. He was a man of great faith and it will be a joy to him to be reunited with his beloved John. He was a dedicated, hard-working businessman and I learned from him what he called "the beauty of checking". He was exemplary in his commitment to Opus Dei. He made a great contribution to education, with the founding of Rockbrook and Rosemont schools. But it will be his company, good humour and warmth which I shall miss. May flights of angels sing him to his rest.
Deepest sympathy to Anne, affectionately - praying for Tere and for you specially, much love Anne from Antoinette.
