So sorry to hear of Terry's passing recently. He was a valued friend and colleague in Hibernian Insurance and always there with advice and assistance when I transferred to liability claims. Deepest condolences to the O'Neill family. Terry was a wonderful person, always willing to help and instruct the newbies at the club on Sundays. He had amazing patience with those who struggled to get it right. We had many a fascinating and often funny chat with him over a cuppa. He will be truly missed by all at the club.

My sister Rebecca was good friends with Aisling growing up in Rathgar, but I later got to meet Terence in Riverview in the outdoor pool and we chatted many times over the years! He walked up and back the length of the pool to keep his hips in good order, so he was always up for the chats! Truly sorry to hear of Terrys passing. Having known him for many years, I can attest to his wonderful character, his warmth of personality, his great storytelling, and, above all for me, his knowledge of everything to do with shooting. I, like many, learnt so much from Terry over those years, forever generous with his time, with his exceptional guidance, his mischievous sense of humor, and not forgetting his withering looks of disapproval when you didn’t follow instructions, I will always treasure those times together.
