Terry and I spoke often about him coming to stay with us in Australia when International travel reopens, he was very much looking forward to revisiting the place where his earliest memories were made.
We had a little tradition of sending each other treats from home at Christmas as he knew well what it is to feel homesick.
I’m so sorry I can’t be there to meet you Ger and to say how sorry myself and my family are for your loss. He was the best type of friend, kind, supportive and understanding. He and Laura had such a special bond which transcended friendship and business/creative partnership so my thoughts are with her too. I’ll miss him terribly.
As a true ‘Whovian’ (Dr. Who fan) I’m sure he’d prefer we think of him as not gone so much as ‘regenerated’ into a different form.
So long Terry, it was an honour to be your companion.

I was incredibly sad to learn of the passing of Terry, or Tezzer as I knew him. We met via twitter many years ago, and I was lucky enough to meet up with him a few times at the Edinburgh Festival. He always had a smile on his face and interesting stories. I shall miss him.

I am deeply saddened by Terry's passing. He was such a beautiful kind soul and great friend. I was looking forward very much to our next meeting after lockdown. I will miss him and think of him often. Sincerest condolences to his brother Ger, and to Laura.

Ger, Words cannot begin to express our deepest sorrow at your sad loss, our thoughts are with you. Terry's passing has come as such a shock. He was my oldest friend, a unique and loyal individual who gave me encouragement, enthusiasm and support. We have known each other since the age of 5 at school. Our friendship has lasted all these years, during which we had so many adventures and experiences together which will always be in my heart. I am so very proud to have had Terry as my 'kindred spirit', with his larger than life persona, and will truly miss him. He inspired me to do so much, and that is his legacy to me. I had the privilege of working with Terry a few years back and we had just embarked on a new adventure with his and Laura's film company. His exuberance, generosity and warmth was a joy to behold. My deepest condolences to you Gerald.

It was an absolute privilege to have known Terry. He had the constant enthusiasm of a teenager and the wisdom and experience of a master in their craft. My condolences to you all on Terry's passing. My family and I came to know Terry through his involvement with local radio in the early 1980s. He encouraged me to get involved and helped me in any way that he could. He was a lovely person and a remarkably intelligent individual. I am so sorry for your loss .My family and I will be thinking of you at this sad time.
