Thanks for your life, your letters, your voice , your smiling and many other things you know.

My condolences to your family remembering they are graceful for having such a soul with them.

Gràcies per recomanar-me "Le Tiers Temps" de Maylis Besserie. Un llibre magnífic. Els irlandesos teniu alguna cosa genial. Samuel Beckett, Oscar Wilde, William Trevor, Terry Higgins...
N'he tret alguna idea ( de Le Tiers Temps) per a la peça de teatre que he escrit aquests dies. Se sembla una mica a "Tot esperant Godot". Però esperen una dona, enlloc de a Godot. I la dona compareix. És comèdia. Amb un toc de cosa més seriosa. The tear and the laughter com deia aquell.
Faig classes de clown i tenc son pare den Genís com alumne. Te'n recordes den Genís? El que t'aguantava un paraigües de colors mentre tu parlaves damunt de l'escenari. També nom Genís, son pare.
Ja comença a enyorar les teves cartes. Però sempre em quedarà la teva cançó... Molly Malone.

Sincerest condolences Daniel and AnnMarie and family. Fintan McCutcheon ( son of Greta McCutcheon, Cootehill, CoCavan who was sister of Rose) and remembering Tess too on her anniversary.

Mon très cher Terry, my ‘Irishman, friend and admirer’, tu me manques déjà alors que tu n’es parti qu’aujourdhui. A travers des années on a passé tellement de moments précieux ensemble, à Chartres, à Paris, à Vaux... et ces moments resteront gravés dans mon cœur à jamais. Tes correspondences nombreux si amusants et parfois si tendres me sont très chers. Je les garderai précieusement à vie pour pouvoir les relire à chaque fois que je pense à toi, c’est à dire souvent.

Alors Terry, il ne me reste qu’à te dire un dernier adieu avec un petit cours sur le subjonctif:

Quoi que je fasse
Où que je sois
Rien ne t'efface
