A sudden and unexpected death is so very sad and heartbreaking. I am soo sorry to hear of Terry's passing, i have some memories of when I was younger when he would be in his shop and we would go in and he'd show me how some things worked, or even as i got older and after my dad passed id bump into him in tesco and id be talking for ages, and if i met him in the graduate, he'd always ask howninwas getting home if i wasn't goi g anywhere else, was never just a quick chat, was always so patient and had time for everyone.
His memory definitely will live on, what a great man.

So sorry to hear of Terry's death yesterday. As we spent a lot of time with Terry's Aunt in Congress Gdns (Kearns) and growing up in Glasthule we knew the Maher family well and living in Kilmainham I would have met and chatted to them over time. We started talking about Jim and Terry's Birthday being on the same day and he went quiet before telling me that Terry had passed away in Tenerife last week. Even though I'm in Oz, Terry and I kept in touch by phone and Face Book. He will be sorely missed and will be forever in my thoughts. Le grá. Jo
