Terence (Terry) McGinty

Dear Maura & family

I have just now heard of the sad passing of Terry. Strangely he has been on my mind since Easter and I have now only seen here on RIP that he sadly passed away.

We are so very sorry to read this and remember him so fondly. May he rest in Peace. Thinking of you all. You must miss him so much.

Terry's colleagues from St Pats 1971 wish to extend sincere sympathy to his wife, Máire, to his daughters Ciara and Deirdre, and to the extended family. We were saddened to learn of Terry's passing and many tributes were paid to him in our WhatsApp group. Terry will be fondly remembered. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.

Sincere sympathy to the McGinty family on the sad passing of Terry. Our rooms were near each other in St Pats all those years ago. I hadn't met Terry for a number of years but we reconnected and had a long chat on the phone in early 2022. He was a gentleman. Rest in peace Terry.

Terry and myself were in Training College at the same time, he was in St. Pat's and I was in Carysfort. It's sad that he doesn't get to enjoy a long retirement especially with his grandchildren.
