In early summer of 1997 we were privileged to spend a day with Teresa and her husband Paddy who was related to my great grandmother Bridget Greene. They opened their home and hearts to us and we spent a lovely day seeing where our family had come from and learning that we still had so much in common. Although we never were able to visit in person again, we corresponded for years at Christmas. The kindness we were shown that unforgettable day continued when we received such a loving note from Anne in 2016 telling us that Teresa was now living in a nursing home and giving us her new address. Sadly...I misplaced that note and did not find it until this spring. I searched for Teresa's name now and of course it is too late to respond. Although our time with Teresa and Paddy was so brief, of the many happy days we have spent in our lives, our day with them stands out in a lifetime of wonderful memories. We will never forget either of them, the stories they told, their sense of fun and kindness.
