Dear Aidan, Aisling ,Mark and Elisha,

I am so deeply sorry to hear about the sad passing away of Teresa on 9th December. My heart aches for you all — there are no words that can truly ease the pain of losing someone so cherished. Teresa’s warmth, kindness and the quiet ways she showed love touched everyone who knew her, and I hope you can feel the depth of that love holding you now.

In this time of sorrow, may the memory of her smile, her gentle presence and the small everyday moments you shared bring you comfort. Grief is the price we pay for love, and it is a testament to how deeply she mattered. I met Teresa on our first day in St Luke’s Hospital in Dublin in 2009. We have remained friends since. She messaged me only weeks ago and said her health was not good but
