Sincere condolences to Teresa’s family. Teresa was a long time member of our Sunday night dancing and was accompanied on many occasions with her beloved sister Betty. She will always be remembered for her beautiful gentle disposition. It was a pleasure to have known her, may she rest now in eternal peace.

We got to know Teresa over many mornings at the Springers and the Captains when she supplied freshly made tea and coffee and a wide variety of snacks to everyone who braved the chilly waters, not before taking her own daily swim. Her generous and caring presence is a memorable feature of all those days. A true lady.

We'd like to express our deepest sympathy to Betty and all of Teresa's family and friends. Teresa was such a beautiful lady, an absolute pleasure to care for. We are going to miss her beautiful smile and her lovely gentle singing voice. Thinking of you all at this very sad time.

Teresa was much loved by the Frosties - and her tea was ironically famous. For many swimmers there was a simple motto "Teresa's tea only". I am grateful for having been able to visit Teresa in the nursing home. She had a wicked sense of humour and often had us cackling with laughter. But my abiding memory of Teresa in the home was her deep love for her sister Betty. I have fond memories of Teresa tapping her bed and whispering "Betty, Betty, Betty, Betty, Betty". How fitting it was that Betty was with Teresa as she made her final journey. May Teresa Rest in Peace and may God give comfort to Betty, Aidan and all her family.

Sincere sympathy to Teresa's brother Aidan and family and to her dear sister Betty who was so good to her over the last number of years since her illness. She will be missed in Skerries for her lovely smile and chats. RIP.
