My dearest Brian. You have been steadfast in your support of our much loved Teresa. She was such a courageous woman, one I admired immensely. I will miss having her in my life. I will miss our conversations, the way she made me laugh and smile, the way she made me feel appreciated and loved. I only met Teresa over the past 18 months when my Mum became a resident in Dunlavin. I always enjoyed my chats with her, often on her opinion of the book she was reading or what interesting concert was coming up on Lyric FM. It was a great pleasure to have known her. Dear Brian, Marian, and all of Teresa's dear friends and loved ones, sincere condolonces from Jens and myself to you all in this trying time. I was saddened to be told of Teresa's passing, and will miss her lovely kind smile and bubbly personality that made her such a joy to be with. As a child I was amazed by her energy and joy of life that was so infectious to all around her. My mother loved having her visit, Teresa had that wonderful ability to put everybody at ease, and in seconds those lovely big eyes gave you the feeling of unrivalled attention. Passing years did not change Teresa, when we met in latter years at the Fair or in Dunlavin, Teresa was still as bubbly and full of life as in the old days, the sunshine was still there, my pleasure was to have been lucky enough to bask in it again. Rest in peace Teresa, you were one of a kind.

There are a few rare people that one meets in life that are forever unforgettable . For their Beauty, their Kindness , their Dynamic energy. Teresa had all of these qualities and more. As a child I was fascinated by her eyes and how gently she connected to all around her. The essence of a cubist painting. Picasso would have yearned to immortalize her. As an adult I felt so privileged to have found myself in her company again. She glowed with goodness and brought sunshine everywhere and to everyone lucky enough to be in her aura. And of course, she taught me how to milk a Goat. Forever in my memories and always a beacon of how to be in the world. Rest in peace
