Deeply sorry to hear of Terry's passing. He was an excellent colleague in New Delhi. The number of warm tributes made on this page alone is testament to the impact he made on colleagues and friends alike.

I met Terry briefly on a visit to the Visa Office in New Delhi and he was most helpful with queries I had around Visa applications for my fiancé’s family coming to busy for which I’ll always be grateful. Like all who have posted before me, i have to remark on Terrys wit and permanent smile. We were next door neighbours on The Old Finglas Rd. Manys a time i stood in the front garden and laughed with Terry. Never took himself or indeed anybody else too seriously. Loved the Bohs and sport in general. A true gentleman and honest character. I would have liked to have seen or spoken to him during his illness but sadly the opportunity never presented itself.

It is with great sadness I heard of the death of Terry. He was one of the first people I met when I joined ORAC and he guided me through interview techniques, while adding humour, which of course was his unique trait. Our paths crossed again when Terry joined me in LTR. Our friendship continued and we were in touch throughout his illness. Terry, goodbye old pal. Gemma, Laurence, Anna & Robyn, Mary & Slobo, sincerest condolences.

Condolences to Terry's family, relatives and friends and all who knew and loved him. I first came across Terry in the halcyon ORAC days back in the early noughties. His fun loving persona stood out then and his love of Arsenal, "De Bohs", the Dubs and the Irish football team were well known.
When I was manager of the VO in Delhi and heard Terry was to join us in Spring 2017, I was delighted at the prospect. It should have been the highlight of his career and in normal times under normal circumstances, he would be returning to Ireland around now, his posting completed, with memories, stories and tales ,that would have been imparted to all in the way that only Terry could do. Tragically and sadly, it was not to be.
I have no doubt now that Terry has joined the ranks of the "Invincibles" in the highest tier in Heaven's Highbury and that he's having a good chin wag with Big Jack.
It was a pleasure to come across Terry on the road of life. A lovely light may have gone out, but the memories, love and friendship that Terry fostered in his all too short life will never be forgotten and will live on in those of us lucky enough to have met him and got to know him.

May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

I knew Terry from our mutual love of Bohs and had many great shared experiences in Dalymount and further afield. Our chats over pints were all about Bohs, the Dubs and Na Fianna. He took great pride in his family. He had the most wonderful combination of wry comment, smile and raised eyebrows. Terry you’ll be missed sorely but never forgotten
