I knew Terry since joining the ESB in 1964. He was always optimistic, cheerful and full of energy. After meeting him one always felt better. He was definitely one of a kind and the world is poorer for his going.

I was unable to attend the funeral due to a close family bereavement. May Terry rest in peace!
I was in Coláiste Mhuire with Terry Didn't know him well there, but in later times he cadged a translation out of me for Goal. It was on a Stephen's Day I think. He was very persuasive when he put his mind to something. Alan Dukes and I had the pleasure of his company reminiscing on our class visit to the preview of Mise Éire in a tribute programme to George Morrison. More recently he told me he'd booked himself into the hospice. Terribly sad.

My sympathies to his loved ones and friends.

May he rest in peace.
I'm truly sorry to learn of Terry's death and offer my sympathies to Phil, Maeve, Helen and Finn, and all his family and friends.

I was in school in Terry (Traolach) in Plás Mhuire and Coláiste Mhuire. when he was one a close group of school friends. In recent years it was a pleasure to see Terry at reunions of our Class of '63. I remember him as a kind, sensitive person with a gentle sense of humour. I am so sorry that I learned of Terry's death too late to attend his funeral.

May he rest in peace..

I am so very sorry for your loss and while I didn’t know Terry very well I know he was a good man because he chose an amazing wife and together you have two wonderful daughters, you are a credit to him. I am here for you in whatever way I can be. Take care. Ciara

I was very sorry to hear of Terry's death , I was in secondary school with Terry in Colaiste Mhuire and met him on a number of occasions at class reunions. It was an absolute pleasure to meet him and renew chats on life , sport and values. Terry was an intrinsically kind and good person.
