Sad to hear of the death of Terry r.i.p. I didn't know him all that well. Met him occasionally with a mutual friend for lunch in Bradys of Shankhill. Always found him genuine and affable. May he rest in peace

Terry coached me at Cabinteely FC up until u17s. I have great memories of all the Leagues, Cups and Shields we won together. He was an amazing, funny, encouraging, caring and supportive man.

Myself and my brother Brian were coached by Terry at Cabinteely FC for many years, enjoying the Saturday morning training sessions in Kilbogget and the Sunday morning matches around Dublin. We also enjoyed the many league titles and cup victories he led us to.

Beginning in the late 60's, our weekends away started off with tents, then to caravans, and then hotels, from Wexford to Sligo and further afield, Our gang had such good fun over those years together. And Terry was always ready with a song or to join in whatever fun events on offer. Those great memories will provide us all with some bright light during the dark days ahead.
