Please accept our sincere condolences on the death of your dear Mother Tess . She will be sadly missed . The one thing I regret is that I didn't get in to see her on my last very brief visit to Roscommon .
Take comfort that she is now with her beloved Paddy . Remember all the happy times and Tess's happy cheery welcoming face . Remember that neither of them have left you but just merely moved into another room in God's house where they are still watching over and caring for you all . May they R.I.P.

We are so sincerely sorry to hear of the passing of your Mum Tessie. We knew her a little as she was a first cousin to our Mum Monica and a bridesmaid to our Auntie Eileen at their double wedding.

From childhood, we always heard lovely stories about the ‘cousins in Roscommon’ the support, loyalty and kinship they shared with Mum and all her siblings over the years. We, ourselves, had the pleasure of meeting Tessie on a number of occasions especially when herself and Paddy along with Alice and Brendan visited us in our pub (Doherty's Mountain Tavern) over the years and also regrettably at funerals - but our memory of these encounters is of her glamour, her sense of style - from the outfit to matching jewellery, her humor, chat and sense of fun, but most importantly to the most beautiful smile of warmth and welcoming nature she always showed us when we would meet.

Real beauty is from within a person and your beautiful Mum Tessie had this. You are in our thoughts and prayers. May Tessie Rest in Peace and know she is smiling down on you all albeit from afar. Jacqui, Martina and Eimer Doherty
