Sincere sympathy to Tess's husband John, daughter, sons and families, also to the O'Shea family especially Mary O and Tina at this very sad time. Tess was always so lovely and special from the first time I met her in first year. I sat behind herself and Tina but couldn"t hear much with them gabbing so much. Tess and Tina often cheered us on a dull day with their beautiful singing.
Tess would take our orders for lunch before leaving class, she had great patience as we would be last to arrive for soup and sandwiches. We never left hungry.
We had many happy days and it was a privilege to have known her.

News of Tess's death is so sad, and quite shocking. From my limited contact with Tess, her kindness, generosity, helpfulness and practicality shone out.
