I learned this evening that Tess passed away and I'd like to offer my condolences to Orla and her family. I've such fond memories of Tess visiting Christy at the bed next to my dad in St Patricks and she was always a kind, gentle person with a great smile and always in good form. May she rest in peace - I shall light a candle for her memory here - very lovely lady.

It is with much sadness that I just now heard of Tessie's death. She was a great friend of my mother Kit and I have many fond memories of her visits to our home. She was a lovely lady. Sincere sympathy to the Curtain and Spillane families. May she rest in peace.

I have lovely memories of my childhood visits to Tessie and Christy with my Grandmother Hurley and enjoying their beautiful garden and their great company. Tessie was a lovely lady. My sympathies to her family.
