Can't be there either day owing to work commitments, but much love to Annette, Ned and the rest of the family, and many fond memories from our travelling days. Particularly grateful for the time he jumped to rescue a nervous air traveller from a seat in Row 13 and gave up his seat in the tail , saying with typical fun "We've never heard of a plan reversing into a mountain'.
You were there for me when I needed your wisdom and comfort. Will always remember you. So sad you have left us but may you rest in peace.
