My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mrs. Clarke. She was my 6th class teacher in Scoil Aonghusa way back in the 80s, and I can honestly say that she was one of the most influential people in my life. I think of her often.
A beautiful, kind, calm woman who instilled confidence and self-belief in her pupils. She had a very special gift for bringing out the best in people.

Deeply saddened to learn of Theresa’s passing. A wonderful lady who cared deeply for the families and children entrusted to her care. She was a most supportive colleague during my time as HSCL, always willing to listen, share ideas and made a difference to the lives of many in a quiet unassuming way. Rest in Peace Theresa.

Am so sorry to hear about the passing of Theresa. As a beloved next door neighbour, she meant a lot to us all. In my first year at primary school in the Convent of Mercy in Ballinrobe, Teresa was doing her teacher training experience. Her selection of me to do the various jobs in the class made me feel at ease straightaway and gave me an undeserved early sense of importance. When I think of her, I recall her at that age, full of energy and ideas; a smiling face over the stile that joined our two gardens. My condolences to Danny and Ann, and to Michael and the Clarke family. May she rest in peace. Her kindness to me will never be forgotten.
