My name is Jean, and I had the pleasure of staying with Theresa and Pat in 2004, while I was doing my Leaving Cert. Theresa was incredibly kind and caring, and I will always be grateful for how well she looked after me during that time. My own parents were also very thankful, knowing I was in such a warm and welcoming home.

One very fond memory I have is of her asking me what my favourite dinners were in the run-up to the exams — she would make them as a treat to support my studying. She was so thoughtful and generous, and I truly enjoyed our chats and time together. I remember how lovingly and proudly she spoke about her family — it was clear how much she adored them.

So sorry to hear about the passing of Aunt Theresa. Every summer we would go to Ireland to visit family One of my favorite things to do was the sleepovers at Aunt Theresa’s house. Even at a young age I never got homesick because she was so kind to me. It was a big part of my childhood and I will treasure it!!❤️❤️☘️☘️
