We deeply regret not being present at Ben’s funeral. Our thoughts are with you all at this sad and most difficult time. Ben was a true gentleman with a kind personality. Enjoyed our brief conversations over the years. He will be sadly missed but has left a wonderful legacy. May he rest in peace

So very sad to hear of dear Ben's passing. We remember well his clockwork running of the Vet paddock at the Dublin Horse Show with immense charm. He is surely missed there. So very sorry to hear that Ben has passed, I have very fond memories. One, that reflects reasonably poorly on me, is a visit he paid us in Rathmore, when I was 3 or 4. The day he arrived, a water pipe had burst in the cottage. Jessica and Ben knocked on the door, which opened to reveal me standing in the hall in up to a foot of water. They handed me a present of a toy car, which I cheerily took and slammed the door on them... They were very gracious about the incident.
