It is with great sadness that we hear of Thomas’s passing. Over the last 10 years, we have come to know Thomas through Bray Cardiac First Responders, as one of the groups founding members. His enthusiasm, ideas, and passion to help others, always finding the best outcome of any situation and providing support to his fellow members, is a testament to him. He will journey on in our hearts

Dear Jenny and family

On behalf of all at the Irish Heart Foundation, please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Thomas. As a volunteer with the IHF, over the years he helped so many people living with ICDs and heart conditions with his positivity, practical guidance, kindness and humanity. He and his family supported the IHF, taking part in our annual fundraising collection and organising fundraising events. Thomas was always looking for ways to give back to those who had helped him, such as the Cardiac First Responder Group, and to seek out new initiatives to support others living with heart conditions. He truly made a difference and we are so grateful for all of the support he gave. As a volunteer-colleague and also as a friend, we will miss him greatly, may he rest in peace.
