Tom was always great for a chat, a few tips on how to cut the grass in the garden and of course a few tips for the races.

We only saw Tom & his family during the summer holidays in the late 60's as children, but he was uncle Paddy's brother and we remember what a truly lovely man he was.

One thing that will always stay in my mind was…..I will always remember was one Saturday years ago now Im out cutting the grass in mammy and daddy’s front garden and Your daddy was passing by of course as you do I said hello there Tommy…. Well as small in height as Bernie my Ma was 😂 she said here it’s MR CAMPBELL TO YOU 😳 🤦‍♀️ So Then the next time I seen your Daddy me again out cutting the grass and I said to your dad well how’s things Mr Campbell he said …..For Jesus sake Maria now call me Tommy your old enough 😃 Well I told my Ma and of course out of temper 😅 Bernie out loud started to sing the song….. “Neighbours everybody needs good Neighbours” sitting Smoking at the hall door 🤩 May you rest in eternal peace and let perpetual light shine upon you 🌈🙏😇 My sincere condolences and prayers to you all at this difficult time

Our thoughts are with our neighbours of 50+years and the loss of their dad Tom. He was a quiet man who would be seen coming and going be it for his shopping, a pint or the gg's. He never did get to paint my wall for me, im sure he was fed up waiting on me to get the paint 🫣 I met him on the rare occasion in Raheny and had a boogie or two back in the day, he had some energy and dance moves to boot🕺. Tom and Eva will be remembered fondly may they be reunited and Rest in everlasting peace.
