Thomas Clarke

Lit a candle, crib side, to day in St Mary’s Cathedral, in memory of Thomas. Recalled other days in Killarney and prayed for all. Watched with. great interest the wonderful celebration of Tom’s life and death back in November. It was delightful to hear the glowing tributes from family , friends and neighbours for such a loving dad, and inspiring and outstanding community member. May Thomas rest in peace .

Our sincere sympathies are with Roberta, Stephen and Lauren, and all Thomas’ friends and family. It is such a sad loss for everyone who had the pleasure of knowing Thomas. We were so so lucky to have Charlie and Hannah taken care of by Roberta and Thomas, who went above and beyond to create a safe, happy and magical home away from home for them. We have so many precious momentos and of course the stunning photo books which he created with such thought and care. I have no doubt the children will remember Thomas (and Roberta and Tink too of course!) for the rest of their lives. Rest in peace Thomas and thank you.

Dear Roberta, Lauren and Stephen,

Thomas was a special friend to us, always ready to give advice and support. He always made us feel so welcome from the first day we met him. From the informal chats in the front garden to the Christmas extravaganza! We always left your house at Christmas in a joyful mood thanks to the show Thomas would put on. He told us time and time again that he was privileged and lucky to have Joely and Sonny in his care, but it was us who were privileged to have known him and witness the love, warmth and encouragement he gave our children every day for the past 9 years. If everyone in the world could be a bit more ‘Thomas’ the world would be a better place. He was truly loved by us all and will be sorely missed.
