It was with great sorrow that I learnt of the passing of your Dad. “Mr Deasy” was a constant positive presence in the Maryborough Ave community, always encouraging but not afraid to hold us marauding kids to account and to keep us in line. I see him with a Hurley in hand playing on the road or on the Green and I still remember the day and the excitement when he brought the VW bus home, making me think that maybe there were places in the world other than The Park and The Old Head. He will be sorely missed but never forgotten, my sincerest condolences.

Really sorry to hear of your dad's passing Killian. It's been a long time since meeting him back in our college days, but I remember him as a lovely man. Hopefully the happy memories you all have of him will outweigh the sadness during this difficult time.

Our condolences to Tom's family. We got to know him when he was on the same team as our son John O Dwyer in the generation quiz in Cork city hall. They won the quiz that night for Rochestown College and I have no doubt that Toms knowledge contributed to their win. We also enjoyed meeting him at mass in St Patrick's on a Sunday morning. Tom was a true gentleman. RIP

To Paul, Ann, Hugh, Cian and Cathal I offer our deepest sympathies to you and all the Deasy families on the passing of a cherished father and grandfather. Tom was steadfastly loyal to our school and served on the Board of Management, a service he passed on to Paul. We are thankful for his commitment, dedication and insight into the management of our school. We were in the privileged position of educating his three grandsons. They inherited many of their grandfather's qualities and it was an honor to be associated with their learning.
I hope the many memories you have will comfort you in the weeks and months ahead.

It was always a privilege to have know Tom from when he married Patricia. A calm, knowledgeable gentleman always. We will cherish the many happy memories of Pat and Tom over the many years.
