To me- There’s no greater accomplishment than creating a life you love and living it fully. Tom achieved that level of success, he built a life that brought him immense happiness and served him as a great source of pride.

A witty gentleman, known for his levity, fearless honesty, and kind nature- Tom found pleasure in life's simple, yet fulfilling moments and he lived life with passion and purpose.

In remembering my uncle, I honor a man who lived life on his terms, with a kind heart, a sharp mind, and a brilliant sense of humor that lightened hearts and brightened days. He will be greatly missed and always fondly remembered.

I'm very, very sorry to learn of the death of my old friend and St. Mel's College classmate, Tom. We soldiered together for 5 years in Mel's and I would venture to say that Tom Donegan never annoyed even one schoolmate or teacher during his time there, such was his lovely, gentle and easy-going manner. We met frequently in the years since and Tom hadn't changed a bit- that lovely manner was still in evidence. I want to extend my heartfelt sympathy to his partner, Sheila, his sisters Mary and Patricia and the extended Donegan and O'Reilly families on their great loss. Tom, Ar dheis lámh Dé go raibh tú!
