I worked with Tom in Ballyvaughan Co, Clare painting holiday homes 35 years ago. I remember Tom cooking all our meals while we were there and going for a few pints in the evening in the Monk's Pub 🍻 I have fond memories of working with Tom over the years

Sincere condolences to Tom’s family on the passing of one of life’s true gentlemen. Also condolences from my wife Pamela who he visited in the National Rehab Hospital 20 years ago and never failed to drop her a box of chocolates and a Christmas card every year.

He was always so very kind to me and my family when he was visiting Australia. Tom is the man I think of as the quintessential Irish gentlemen.
