Dearest Maureen, Frewen and Low families,

You are constantly in my thoughts during this time of grief. My prayers are always with you.

From the 23rd Psalm: "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. Thy rod and thy staff, they comfort me."

I pray that you too, will find comfort in unexpected ways, times, and places.

With love,
— Katherine Donnelly

Deepest sympathy to all Thomas's family. RIP. I have not seen him since his mother taught us Lonergan;s at Ballyhurst NS near Tipp town an awful long time. My sister, Eileen {Crosse} Donaskeigh, Tipp saw the death notice and alerted me to it. She or I will try and contact you. I am tied up with a colleagues funeral in the am. Christy

I met Thomas when he & his family came to Virginia for his son’s wedding to my niece Katie. I was struck that despite all the excitement, activity, & people he made an effort to engage my two sons (upper elementary & middle school age) in conversation. He was warm & seemed genuinely interested in their responses. I remember thinking how lucky Thomas (son) was to have him as a dad & Maureen to have him as her husband. I have thinking this week of my own father (also a Thomas!) and have noted how both these fathers were fiercely devoted to their wives, children, and grandchildren - giving them the majority of their time and energy. And helping others that crossed their paths. Let both Thomas’s inspire us to fight the good fight, finish the race, and keep the faith. Prayers from Virginia.

McNair family is sending the Frewen family our heartfelt thoughts and condolences during this difficult time. We first met Thomas (father) when the Frewen family from Ireland came to Virginia for Katie and Thomas's wedding. The entire family were delightful and we thoroughly enjoyed meeting them. With parents, Thomas and Maureen, it is no surprise that Thomas (son) models such warmth and kindness to others.
