My deepest sympathies to the O'Connor family on Gerry's passing. Gerry was a part of our family my entire life so we are left with many, many happy and funny memories of our time with him. Sunday afternoon football matches in St. Anne's Park, bowling, go-karting trips and even quasar! Gerry was up for everything and always made each experience so much more humorous. Thanks for the laughs Gerry. They will live on in your memory. Rest in peace.

He was a passionate Clare hurling supporter and I have fond memories of travelling with him to Thurles and Croke Park when The Banner were playing. My condolences to the O’Connor family and friends. I had the pleasure of meeting Gerry back in the late 90’s and I will always remember him as a kind gentleman with a easy sense of humor. I will fondly remember his passion for Clare Hurling, and watching on VHS The Sparrow Jamesie O’Connor in the 97 All Ireland. Up the Banner Gerry, Rest In Peace my friend!
