I knew Tommy in Dublin in the sixties. Truly genuine, he had a fearless relationship with the truth and remarkable empathy. Typically, he’d take a positive view and was always on your side.
When I visited Vancouver in the eighties, Tommy (and Mary) welcomed me with all-round hospitality.
He was a good friend; may he rest in peace. My condolences to all his family and friends.

I don't know the man or family but I must say, that is the nicest death notice I have ever seen, and the love ye have for Thomas shines through..
