It was always a pleasure meeting Tom, and appreciating his wit and observations upon the world. He was a true gentleman, who leaves many happy memories. So sorry to hear of the passing of Thomas. We will all miss him. Sorry we couldn’t attend the funeral in person today as we are away on holiday - but we watched the service online instead. It was a fitting tribute to a wonderful man.

It is with great sadness that I have learnt of the passing of Thomas. A real gentleman who always had a smile and time for a chat over the years when I met him at Whitehall Colmcilles. Try to draw some small consolation that he has returned to be with his wonderful Mam and Dad.
Words here on earth will carry no comfort to you at this extremely sad time but memories of great times with Thomas will live forever in your hearts. Let these memories help you to grieve your loss and to help with the healing process for you.

Even though he was having health issues over the past couple of years, he was always joking and up for a bit of fun and a laugh. That’s how I’ll remember him. He was a wonderful and generous neighbour and gentleman and was always willing to assist in the time of need. Theresa's sister Anne was deeply touched by his help on one occasion when her car failed to start. It was no problem to Thomas to get out the jump leads and solve the problem.

Thomas was so well loved by his family, particularly his wonderful grandchildren.
