Thinking of Kay and all the family at this sad time in all your lives. I was part of the Cavan Association in Dublin and had the privilege of knowing Tom over the years. He was a gentleman and was always ready to be part of every fundraising event to raise funds for many deserving charities. I was not able to get to his funeral but instead watched his beautiful funeral Mass online and prayed for his gentle soul. Rest in peace Tom.

Sincere sympathy to you Kay and to all the family on your sad loss of Tom. A true gentleman, always a Cavanman, and a great friend. I got to know him through the Cavan Association where had a great ability to work and to organise. He also had a great generosity, always thinking of others in need, and over the years the Association supported many charitable causes. One of these was my Mullahoran Traditional concert, he never missed a year and persuaded many of his friends to come along to support it and fill the seats on the bus. He loved the music and was always happy to give a bar of Paddy Reilly or The Cavan Girl. Go mbeidh Solas na bFlaitheas agat Tom.

I was saddened to hear of Tom’s passing.

Tom will be remembered with great affection, not only as a devoted husband and father, but also as someone who gave generously of his time to others.

I will always remember Tom as a dedicated and loyal member of Fianna Fáil's Erskine Childers Cumann. His commitment, his steady presence at meetings and events, and help and support for others made it a privilege to know him.
