While I hadn’t seen him for many years I still fondly remember doing business with Tom at the Port in New Ross and enjoying his great sense of humour on a trip to the Bunratty medieval banquet all those years ago. I’ve very fond memories of Tom coming to the veterinary clinic with his labradors . His humour always brightened up our day and I hope Tom you are at peace after your long illness .

Sending deepest sympathy to all of the family at this very sad time. Mr Davis was a great sport and he lit up my days in the GP surgery on his visits. His stories and his kind, happy demeaner were just so lovely. He won't be forgotten by all those he met along the way.

I wish to give my condolences to all the Davis family on the loss of their husband/father/grandfather Tom.

My earliest memories are ones of my father and a very special group of friends, of meetings in sitting room and visits in the kitchen. Fishing trips to the west and shooting trips to the slobs in Wexford. Times where a bottle of whiskey was taken down and shared, where stories were told and there was alway plenty of laughter. I remember being teased unmercifully, but always included and always loved. Where the kitchen door would open and a head would pop round, there’d be cries of welcome and frantic cleaning of the kitchen table and tea would be made.

I remember trips to Holywell for New Year’s Eve and being a little shy and unsure, of being welcomed in and playing charades and having a wonderful time. So many memories of such a lovely gentleman. I loved his humour and I am very lucky to have had him in my life.

Love to you Dorothy, Vandra, Clodagh and Tara. I am truly sorry I can’t be there.
