I wish to offer my deepest sympathy to Tom’s family and friends. Tom was one of life’s true gentlemen who guided and supported others - it was a privilege to work with him. One of his favourite roles was being at the start of cross country, sending each competitor off with encouragement and enthusiasm. At peace.

I have had the pleasure of knowing & working with Tom in the Limerick Pony Club & at the Limerick Show - Tom willingly gave of his time & expertise - nothing phased him. He thoroughly enjoyed encouraging & supporting pony club members to participate and excel in all pony club activities. He was genuinely interested in the PC children & loved following their careers. His tremendous wit & ability to recall stories were remarkable. We will miss Tom's calming influence & sense of fun - not to mention his culinary skills! RIP Tom.
