Thomas (Junior) Tyrrell

We met Tom when we joined St James’s Band a few years ago and we’re amazed at his musical ability. We became very close to him in the past few years and think of him every day. He will always stay in our thoughts and prayers. Rest in peace Tom dear friend

I was a clarinet player in the school band in Athy in the mid 80's and Junior Tyrell was our teacher. A kind, funny, and patient man. Although it was 40 years ago, I still remember him very fondly. Condolences to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.

I am so sad to hear of Junior's passing. We grew up together on the Curragh, We renewed acquaintice when we met some years back, when he was a judge at Community Games concerts. He was a real gentleman.
