He was a very dedicated, hardworking, conscientious welfare benefits advisor, with reputably excellent knowledge and insight, a Champion who fought for the most vulnerable in our society.

He has always been so supportive of us as volunteers at AoD, and we have been so grateful for his kindness, his expertise, his dry wit, and his endless work standing up for vulnerable people and opposing injustice. He will be very sorely missed.

With warmest wishes to Gill and all Tom's family. Tom was an inspiring teacher and great support to us as 'benefits work' volunteers in his team at AoD. He had a deep belief in combatting the unfairness in our society and this came across in all his work. We so much enjoyed working with Tom and will miss him.
