The passing of a truly special and legend of an uncle. I’ll always remember his visit to me when I was living in Washington DC. We had a great time. Kieran was such good company with a uniquely insightful perspective on all matters human. You’ll be missed.

To Donal and Kelly we are so saddened to hear of Kieran’s passing, we have many happy memories from visits to Dinish Lodge. The many cups of coffee and long chats he will be sadly missed by us all. May his gentle soul rest in eternal peace.

Dearest Kelly, Donal and family. I have such fond memories of your Dad. Growing up amongst your family and having your lasting friendship is a gift that I treasure. Your parents were always so welcoming and always fun! Kieran would happily drive us out on a Saturday night, always waiting in the car to make sure we got in to whatever club he was dropping us to, waving goodbye with a wink and a grin. And hours later, there to pick us up again, eager to hear of our escapades. Such a love. And to this day, when I throw a ball for my dog, Kieran comes to mind, belting out a ball as far as he could with a tennis racket for little Mitzy, I can still hear his giggle as she would run like the wind after it. You both have done an amazing job looking after your parents in their elder years. I wish I was closer to give you both a big hug. Please know that I am thinking of you all at this difficult time. He was always ready with a joke or a funny story or simply standing (in his smart suit) in the background listening and keeping a watchful eye. I have seen how you’ve both looked after your parents as they have aged - you’ve been absolutely brilliant in your love, care and devotion. You simply couldn’t have done more for him (nor Auntie Ruthie) and I know he will be greatly missed by you, his grandchildren and family. His love for you transcends death and will be everlasting. RIP dearest Uncle Kieran you will be fondly remembered and loved for forever.
