Hi Joan and family.So sorry to hear about Larry.May he rest in peace.Lar was my boss in River House.He was lovely and friendly,chatty,liked to sing to himself,liked his cards and of course a pint.Great to see a few I worked with in River House submitting their condolences.I hope Lar is in Heaven with his friend and co-worker ,Murt Cuggy

I met Joan and Larry a number of times over the years and it was always "Joan & Larry" that the twins Denise & Nuala said when referring to their Mom and Dad, often with a giggle ...Larry seemed to find it all very amusing too even if he sometimes looked like he wanted to roll his eyes to heaven but he didn't. I always felt that when I was in the Byrne's household that there was a lot of love. I send some of mine to you all on this day and if I could I'd give ye a hug but I am far away in Spain. A particular hug to Denise, Nuala and Tony and of course to Joan, my condolences on the loss of your father and husband. Besos

My deepest condolences to Larry's family on his passing. Larry was my boss in River House back in the 80s. He was a lovely boss and had a great way about him. I particularly remember his sayings..."get off the stage" and "I made a mistake once!" among others. Larry was a character and one of lifes gentlemen. Rest in peace Larry.

Oh Carol, I am so very sorry for your loss. Heartbroken to hear this news about your wonderful father. He always brought me joy when I would see him at the nursing home.
