Sorry to hear of Tom's passing got to know him while racing against him in Dundalk, Navan and Harolds Cross. A man that always had time for a friendly chat he has been missed over the past while.

My brother Robert was a true friend of Tom's.Tom advised Robert to buy Rooden Tiger which won 10 straight races.WE all were on the double gins.Years ago the height of fashion was to buy Kentucky fried chicken in PHibsboro ,come back to DIck Barrons chip van at the front of BRigid's GAA club and get chips and a drink and listen to music soon the car radio.God be with the days. His dad Tom was a wonderful greyhound trainer and trained the great “Spanish Battleship” to win 3 Derbys in the fifties.
